If you really want to dig in and do some research work, just search on the internet and figure out what's out there that needs to be added to the map. You don't have to be located in the USA to see that a State Park is missing somewhere. I've added multiple items to the app since I joined that I...
^ I'm similar to the above, never been injured on a trip but I have a condition that I have to keep up with the ensure a stress-free experience. After an eye surgery I was left with permanent severe dry eye and light sensitivity. I have a couple meds I take daily for it and I wear my sunglasses...
First thing that comes to mind is a nice multi-tool. Obviously it has a knife, some have the little saw, but my number one thing is the pliers with the cutter at the bottom of the teeth. The amount of times I've used that to snip zipties etc is worth it's weight.
Other little things, a nice...
I haven't been following this too closely recently, I would reach out to Open Trails NJ. I think they have a Facebook page and a website, they will know the current status of it all.
Rally Report December 2023:
Similar crowd as last month, a few different faces and musicians. Pizza was top tier as always! Between a couple of the artists, brewery staff held a moment of silence for the remembrance of the anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack. It was great vibes all around...
Those hatchback annex tents are great imo, obviously I don't know exactly which one yall see but I like them. Is the ability to attach to the Hyundai a requirement for you? I would do this personally: Quest Hitchline 6-Person Tent | Publiclands and it's freaking half off for black friday.
I have a small friend group that camps together at least once a year. Recently a few of them got into hunting together so for the last couple years we had deer, which is one of my favorites. But if I'm alone, my only go-to meal is canned stew. Not sure why, maybe I miss the suck of the Army but...
Nice first trip to make, I also live in NJ and did something similar last year. We did Williamsburg VA, Fayetteville NC, Savannah GA, and Tampa FL. Your color combo reminds me of the Police Interceptors, especially the first pic. Enjoy it!
More than enough, I was behind a guy on a very dusty trail during daytime who just had 2 small amber cubes and I could see the lights fine but not him.
Looks great, I'll reiterate what was said already to keep it light up there as yours doesn't have any additional support rails underneath and it may cave-in the hood. My only other suggestion would be to keep the gear up there low profile, so you can see over it nicely. Good luck!
I've actually never used any of those tires you reviewed haha. I've had Coopers on an old Wrangler years ago and I currently have Milestars on my Gladiator, but my absolute favorite tire in my experiences so far are Delium Terra Raiders. ( See them at Priority Tire ) I was in between options and...
Dang that's snazzy!
I prefer to not know what time it is when I'm on an adventure, but between my car clock, tablet, phone, and stomach when it's been a little too long since breakfast - it always catches up to me.
I will start by saying I only carry/bring where it's legal. I prefer concealed, open just feels tacky to me. And I don't think other people look tacky open carrying, I just think I look tacky haha.
Currently I have really been enjoying my Springfield XD 9mm, it's fun and light. That comes...
