There is no comparison in the two in function or price. If you want something that will work if you know what your expecting. the powerchill will work. I use one with great success. There is some preperation compared to the ARB style but you can effectively use them. Theres a few tricks to...
I use the powerchill. I plug it in the night before in my kitchen and in the morning my drinks have slush in the top. When I leave I fill the bottom with blue cooler blocks. Plug it into my jeep and my beverages and food are cold all day. Unplug when I stop. Blocks stay frozen for 3 days in...
We run two cases plus our plug in Coleman cooler. Can't leave the cooler plugged in when the rig is off but ice packs in there fix that. It keeps drinks so cold they get slushy. We keep our kitchen in one case and camping needs in the other.
That is exactly what we have here except it's all pot holes. The reflex worked awesome on my last jku, myn03 f150 and my 05 suburban. Ride was smoother than stock, off road was controlled ans no skittering on the potholes, and it was smoother as well. Monroe did a great job. I think for 2...
I'm sure ram has a mount that bolt to the seat bolt. Have a look. That would be solid. Everything I have to mount needs to be solid too. I can't stand things moving and vibrating while driving.
Really? that's messed up. I can understand if the rake changes the angle. But the distance to the ground should not matter as long as its shooting out at the same angle. Note to self. Don't buy a new vehicle with nannies on it.
I had a 1998.5 pathfinder. It was great. 2 days into ownership I hit a moose with it. 18,000 dollars worth of damage. the LC is a great rig. You can't go wrong with that.
I am sure I asked you this before but I cannot remember. Can you access everything in carplay as you would on the ipad? Also, is there a torque pro equivalent on ios that comes through carplay as well?
Just to add, There are many rigs in your price range to fit your desired usage. Most of them more capable than you think as well. How "off roady" are you going? what's your trails like there?
I totally get the size thing. nah, they are actually mostly 4wd. well, in my area anyways. They are better on gas than the LC or LR using gas engines. Even better than my jeep wrangler. You would be suprised. Taking a highway drive I was averaging 10-12l per 100 kms at 110kph. Not bad...
Hi trailer does not have an axle, it has two torsion bars with air or microcellular springs with a spindle attached. I am guessing thats what his issue is. The spindles have to much.....spindle. the jeep wheel won't fit over the spindle.
Yes, I am well aware of how the shock business works, I am a mechanic, and I have built and tuned race cars. I was just making a point that most of what I have heard about fox for off road rigs when you buy them is they are stiffer, on most rigs. Not just my Jeep. I would love to get a set...
I was going to say Land crusier too. Even the 4 runner. Other family freindly rigs are mitsubishi pajero if you can get one of those in the area, and I am not sure if you guys over there have chevrolet products or not. The good ole suburban is ideal for family overlanding.
