    Buying a new winch...

I bought a winch off amazon and it's the same winch as the Badlands for several hundred dollars cheaper. I've already had to use it once. (got stuck in grass LOL) Only difference is the plastic cover. There are not 12 winch factories in China. I assure you. Only one and they make "ALL" the...

Driver Comfort for 6 foot and above - Tacoma

There's a huge thread about this on TW and they do make a seat bracket mod to lower the seat I think. You should be good. Go for a test drive and see how you like it. Loved mine for a while until I wanted to haul something like a travel trailer. (another huge thread about that too. LOL) Zim

    Phone and tablet mounts

I have the RAM snap in type and it works great. It's tight and feels like it's going to break the ipad glass but it works. Zim Setup in the Tacoma was this. And now I fabricated a dash mount for the F250 using the big ball and same ipad mount.

    Project 'Yeller' Trailer Build

Outstanding build. You did the same thing I did on my roof rack. Cut it, welded up some .75' square and dropped it down on the studs. Bolt thru and done. Nice work Sir. Zim

Are my wheels and tires big enough to off-road!?

Nice rig. That Tacoma is a very useable, capable vehicle even with the tires you have. Never underestimate a stock Tacoma. I know, I just sold my 2019 so I could haul a big trailer. Go out and have some fun with a few friends and you'll figure out where your stopping point is. Then build from...

Some of my other general tools. Sockets and wrenches are yet to be organized. (this has my ocd going nuts) My truck has the typical "whatever they have on the shelf" fasteners both standard and metric. Very typical of Ford. LOL Zim

Electrical Tools - which ones do you carry and why?

I apparently did not see "electrical" in the tool section. LOL. I posted this over on the tool side. Zim My GP40 battery jump box is not shown. It was charging. LOL This is what I call my diag box. Z

Welcome to Overland Tools - a new discussion space in the forum to discuss Overland tools

Hey @Amanda C . Nice work getting the tool thread started. If I showed you guys what I have I'd be banned from Overlanding. It's overkill. But at least I have what I think I'll need. I like being able to help others on the road. In addition to that, I haul a 21' trailer along with me. It serves...

Three Years, 60,000 miles, Fifteen States and a lot of fun.

That lake in Oklahoma was "money" LOL. The campground is called Wildwood Recreation Area and was empty almost. Hundreds of white and grey Heron's and some Osprey also. Lake is amazing Zim
