Is the Overlanding community killing itself

I've been camping, hiking, climbing, cooking outdoors and four wheeling since 1972. Folks that enjoy adventure, whatever the genre, will adapt to whatever group of folks can provide the best information, hands on experience or expertise currently available. I came here to learn new things and...

Three Years, 60,000 miles, Fifteen States and a lot of fun.

Update from Texas. Well as we expected our family member passed away and we're helping the kids process her death, estate and some other things. I actually took a job through this process while Deborah took care of her sister. Getting ready to head north again into the Ozarks and Missouri. We...

    Star Gazing

Merrett Reservior in Nebraska is another "International Dark Sky Park". Have not gone there yet but there is a once a year gathering of astronomy enthusiasts in the fall I think. Zim

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Started on a rough mock up of my back seat storage. So far, so good. I'll probably keep this for a while and redo it when I get a place to work. Back on the road soon. Can't wait. Zim

    Undecided Rig

The Jeep is a really good pick and so is the Ranger. You can't kill an older Ford Ranger and the Jeep is tried and true beastly. Coin toss but the Jeep has more storage without spending a dime. (throwing a tarp over the bed of a truck is not protection) lol Zim
