I've already gotten fairly good at controlling the Auto-stop with the amount of brake pressure alone.
It reads like it should get similar MPG to my Cherokee. If so, I'll be a happy camper!
I finally decided to bugger off waiting for the diesel. It seems that it keeps getting crazier and crazier, with no end in sight.
That said, I opted to go with the 3.6L v6 instead. Since I have the HEMI in the XK, and this is going to be my daily driver gas mileage was very important.

That is a pretty big device. If I have to have a portable pit like that, and not a circle of rocks. I'm going to have to find something that packs up better for sure.
Ok, it sounds basically like Washington. I always have a shovel (or 2) around, and a fire extinguisher (and water) pretty close when I have a fire.

It might have been possible to do something that would have left at least the look of the factory rails. I gave thought to that before I pulled them apart. That's when I realized the base of the OEM rails was all plastic.
