Dual gas tank or extra gas in Rotopax or cans?

Easy to fill, not awkward at all.

Dual gas tank or extra gas in Rotopax or cans?

Thanks, I got lucky and got a deal on mine but they are getting harder to find for sure. The Dinoot is great little trailer, the guy who designed it in on Expedition Portal as well. Have fun with the build, I tell you it's totally addicting, not sure I will ever "finish" mine! Ha!

Dual gas tank or extra gas in Rotopax or cans?

Sadly most of our trips of late have been long weekends! Still I prefer to be a little over prepared, just in case, whether it's for us or to help someone else. I was trying to post a photo of the Rotopax in the trailer but it's not linking for some reason. I have a very large and slightly...

Dual gas tank or extra gas in Rotopax or cans?

We carry (2) 4 gallon Rotopax on our trailer. While they are a bit pricey, they seem to be very durable, and can be mounted in a variety of ways. Before the trailer, I had them lying flat on the Gobi Rack on my Jeep, much better then 2 5 gal Jerry cans on your roof! No issues with leakage...

What tires do you like? (Merged Thread)

I've been through a couple of sets of Duratracs on my Jeep, I've had zero issues and right now have about 50k on the current set. I switched away from BFG AT KO's awhile back due to their lack of rain and snow performance, and I also wanted something a little more aggressive without going to a...

    Optima Yellow top

The temp on ARB was set for 30F but it's usually 3-4 degrees off so real temp was probably 34-35F . I use 10g wiring between the panels and the battery with anderson connectors and run no more then 15ft of cable since the charge controller is mounted to the panels.

    Optima Yellow top

I got my 100 watt folding panel kit off ebay several years ago, but I ended up re-wiring it and changing out the charge controller for a better one. Lots of people seem happy with the Renogy kits, the consensus for running a ARB type fridge is a minimum of 60 watts. Considering you will never...

    Optima Yellow top

I bought the fancy Odyssey charger to maintain them, but it didn't help. I think the starting battery just plain had issues. The Jeep has a 160amp alternator and I have an Aeroforce gauge that shows the voltage off the OBD port. You can definitely see the changes in output, battery charges...

    Optima Yellow top

I had 2 Diehard Platinums, (re-badged Odyssey). The starter battery died in less than 3 years. The Aux battery can't hold a decent resting rate overnight and I figure it will be on it's way out soon as well. After looking at multiple options, I decided to go back to Optima, due to their being...

Snorkels - More Popular in Australia?

I'd like one for the pre-filter aspect as the dirt/dust in Death Valley alone gets into everything!
