As mentioned, I think they beefed up the XT. It has a heated basement too I think they said on the videos. I will make it heated anyways. Full time living in comfort. Hell, baja Mexico in the winter is not like here anyways! As for full time living and things breaking. it's all about how...
The more we look at this vehicle, the more we are inclined to sell off everything we own, and move into this thing full time. Get remotely connected jobs, to pay for what we need which would only be gas, insurance, food and internet expenses. It is so tempting to just get in and go explore for...
I have always jones'ed for an Earthroamer HD. But at 1.5million it was a hard pill to swallow for something that did not have slideouts to give us extra room we need for our family. Enter the Seneca XT by Jaco. It has most everything we want in a motorhome plus 4x4, lift and lots of room and...
Nothing, nothing nothing and nothing. It will all be universal parts for the little honda. You can check with LP adventure to see if they have anything in the cooker.
I have new struts, LCAs and the daystar 1.5" lift ordered now. All should be in within a week or so. I have the KYB quickstruts ordered and Moog LCAs. The dealer that I purchased the RC kit from is providing free labour for this stuff since it's RCs fault. Great service from them. I like the...
Finally got my new steed for this summer. A rocky Mountian Growler 20. Can't wait to try out a modern geometry bike. It's so weird compared to my old rockhopper.
Yes they are. We are running the more aggressive AT3W on the patriot. Don't notice much difference in milage vs the stockers actually maybe a mpg or two. that's it though
Our 235/65/17 AT3W tires are 31 lbs each. Lighter than the previous Kumho's I had on. They are only 6lbs heavier than the stock 215 firestones. The amount of real world grip from the falkens on dry, wet, snowy, icy and dirt roads is a night and day difference. They are THAT GOOD!
After watching a metric craptonne of videos, the base model outback will suit us fine. Add on some rallitek goodies, and we are good to go. Plus the 900 plus kms from a tank we will get will be even better. The wilderness while a great rig, is not worth the 11g increase in pricing. That's...
I have owned 2 Wrangler JKU's. To be honest, all of our trails around here we really did not even need it to be in 4wd. Most of our stuff is miles and miles and miles of forest logging roads with some washed out sections. Underbody protection and good tire choice is much more important than...
We have been going back and forth on getting a new wrangler or a wilderness outback. Two totally opposite rigs but two that we like alot. Question for the outback owners. Are they as contrary as the youtube videos state about crawling over loose gravel and rocks? The videos I have watched...
I have read they are a little stiffer but no uncomfortable unloaded. Can't give more information than that. Love the outback though. Since the Jeep acquisition never materialized da wife and I have been talking about an outback. We are checking into it as we speak.
