I have a Cobra 25 with 7 weather channels. Love the weather feature. I swapped it out for a peaked and tuned Cobra 29 with an extra 80 channels (40 above and 40 below) but no weather. Wanted to see what the extra power and channels got me. True there isnt much chatter in the NE, but I hear some...
Somewhere I have pictures of two kayaks in J hooks on top of my old Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ, with a dusting of snow on them. That was the signal it was time to take them off, but I had driven around half the year with them up there so we could take advantage of any paddling opportunity that arose
I just built a wooden deck/drawer setup for my truck bed. Nothing fancy, mind you. Some 2x8's, some 1x8's (common boards!) couple half inch 8 ft sheets of plywood. If I knew it was going to be almost $300 in lumber, I might have used the $750 towards that!
(Not really, though. I still would...
This design was used for the original Nissan Pathfinder, Honda Passport and Isuzu Rodeo. The Honda version had an Isuzu engine. Whoever designed it must have made a bunch of money licensing it to the other two manufacturers
Funny about the half-doors. Seems people seek them now. Back in the 90's, it was a way they used to try to get people to keep the doors on when going down a highway. Most people then saw it as a watering down of the Wrangler awesomeness. Now its desired.
Those Jeep Gladiators are kick-ass! My brother in law has one. Though not a Ruby, it is still very nice and capable.
Having said that, I've never really been a fan of cramming an 8cyl into any S10/Ranger/GrandCherokee/Explorer package. This Jeep sort of falls into that category for me.
I like...
For sure. I could get a lesser name brand which could be all the quality I need.
I beleive that 750 is about my fuel estimate for Boston to Big Sky and back
Or a couple, three days at Buck's T4 Lodge.
Oddly enough, it would cover any of those things, but not parts only for ACDelco OE pads and...
Am a Chevy guys as well, but have secretly admired the Tacos and have long wanted a current gen 4Runner. Meanwhile: It's a full-on Bison? For 45? Try finding a new zr2 for that around here. If I were in the market, and could spend 45, I'd probably go for the Bison. But truth be told, the Taco or...
I'd go with preventative maintenance and/ or fuel. Although I need recovery straps, too. If you are handy with a wrench, that $750 can go a long way. On the other hand, if you are handy with a wench, well, you'll be spending a h3ll of a lot more, and for years to come
Tried the oat milk route. Personally I care for that the least. Almond is OK, and I understand that this options are supposedly better for me. But given my druthers, I prefer a little milk in fresh ground, or a decent instant made only with milk
Tires look a good size. Lift looks respectable without over -doing it. The whole truck looks good.
Theres a difference between a workin', badass, ready-to-go truck, and a beautiful truck. I went a little on the beautiful truck side this time. But yours looks like it's down for whatever. A heavy...
