Nice and shiny! Looks new.
I thought the cabin air filters on this generation were actually sealed shut from the factory. They never thought they'd need changing. Saw a video of a guy, this gen Sierra, had to cut the box open and create a way to reclose.
Cant imagine a bumper for a full size fitting a mid size. Then again the new midsize are big compared to their predecessors. How wide is a 2018, or is it totalled and are you getting a new one ?
They remind me of the old Goodyear Wrangler TD's I used to put on my 91 Chevy Truck (they weren't called Silverado yet), Cheyenne edition single cab 4x4 6 foot bed.
There was a big old truck mechanic spot in South Bay in the 90's. And I used to stop in there now and then they would have some...
Havent seen the final episodes yet but the dune buggy trip through Namibia...the Columbia drive with James May in the Fiat Panda...the episode of Top Gear where Richard gets "rescued" from Lone Wolf Mountain...they were fun. Showed where the vehicles you expect to see on expeditions can fail...
Doors are ready aluminum. Not sure about the hood.
I happen to love the YJ, even though its lower than the CJ, and has square headlights. The 4.0L (after about 1990), unassuming interior are highlights. Drove a Rubicon a couple years ago, and the interior felt cramped, while the YJ was...
Rear wheel drive and 4x4 vehicles should be using the rearward cross pattern of that image, is what I always was told. Dont know why the X wouldn't work?
Love those Broncos even better than the originals. Gen 2 through 5 are it, for me
I'd love to see how you did that. I'm no electrician and I dont even play one on TV. If you have pics, laser pointers and sock puppets explaining it, that'd help, ha ha
I've got a set of amber 3/4 marker lights that I've wanted to install at the body plugs of my rocker panels. I have side boards kind of like yours and thought they would give us a little illumination of the step boards in the dark. Looks good.
The original Humvee had drop gears like this. It could do wonderous things, but it always had fleet repair in the green zone.
There is a reason they simplified the "Hummer" undercarriage to that of the regular GM K2500 when they went all civilian.
I'm with the people here that say K.I.S.S...
Looks like a beautiful savannah area! I bet the wind can really howl there.
In an area like Montana, we worry less about ticks, while here in New England, there are ticks everywhere until the frost. Is there a concern about ticks in that grassland on Laeso?
Eh, no worries. Everyone does it, and I am no authority here at all. You just might find even more info out there in these threads is all.
Anyway I Drove into work this morning, 55 miles in the rain. Headed back for another 55 in the rain. My BFG AT KO2's did just fine. I realize its...
...Michelin Defender LTX for on road and even, according to other threads, fire service roads. (Or even the Defender LTX AT for off road). Had many, great on road tire.
...BF Goodrich A/T KO 2 (or 3, I think that's the new one)
285/70r17 is a 32.7 inch high tire, so just about a 33...
Seems like kind of a fail? When you bring back a nameplate like Blazer or Scout, you alienate the original base if you change the vehicle too much. Even if the new vehicle is a good one, you are picking up a new base anyway, so call it something else, why dont they
I did a couple quick searches but did not find any results for the new Scout and few about the old Scout, whether 80. 800 or II.
Wondering if there is little to no talk of it here because New Scout is electric? Also, why do US car companies keep being bought by European car companies? How did...
Yes and yes. Yes We played dodge ball with kickballs, and yes, the no longer allow the game here.
To me, though, that was the one game where a skinny, quick kid with lightning reflexes could out-play the jocks
