285 70 17 bfg km3, on a 4 door wrangler.
38 psi daily driving
20 psi for trail/fireroad
15 psi for sand, snow, rocks
25 psi for ice
I have been down to 12 psi on sand, tire never popped off the wheel, but i wasn't confident about it.
I do not have beadlocks.
My current battery (jackery 500) will shut off if it doesn't send out more than 10 watts for a few hours, my fridge can drop to 1 watt for hours, hence the battery shutting off.
Is there a battery that will keep my fridge on indefinitely?
That might work for now, seems small as well.
My little butane one struggles when I'm cooking in low Temps.
When I was in utah, it was 14°f during the day and could even heat up water to make coffee. The flame was barely coming out, and it was a new can.
I have 33s on my jeep, and rpm is high going uphill, eats a lot of gas. I'm on the fa they 4.10 gearing, wondering if I should upgrade the gears, I might want larger tires in the future anyways.
I prefer the small propane bottles since I use them for my coleman lantern.
Thanks for the advice! Will look at some now, still have some time to look since I won't be camping until the weather gets cooler.
I've been using a small portable butane stove, but it seems I need to upgrade to a slightly larger stove, one that uses the small propane bottles.
Any decent stoves that aren't too expensive?
I use a 500 watt battery bank for my fridge. I can plug into the jeep or solar panel to charge.
I like it because I can leave it at camp while I go explore, and it'll be charging while I'm gone.
Got a ton of pinstriping from bushes, under my jeep there are plenty of dent gouges etc.
Probably hurts the resale, but I plan on keeping her as long as she will run (lifetime warranty should help).
