Finally setup my roofrack and solar panel.
Was about to wire them today, but the RV cable sealer i got was too poorly made, so I have to return it and order a different one.
Tested out the new dual hose, and they work fantastic! Cut down on filling time by a lot! Usually I'm last to fill (since I'm on 38x13.5x17), but I finished earlier than everyone last time we went wheeling. Very happy with my setup.
Ah that's good to know.
I may attempt to do this.
I have an ecoflow wave2 and want to experiment with the AC when it gets warmer. Thing eats a lot of juice.
Did you install it yourself? I've always been curious about doing this but not a fan of doing electrical work.
Also only have a delta 2, and no plans for 2000wh yet. I have a 120w panel that keeps the delta 2 topped off for the most part, just an alpicool fridge/freezer.
Just curious, so i remove the core from stem, then pop on my compressor?
I didn't seem to have any issues with filling time with the factory viair hose clamp, just that the clamping itself was really bad, but still filled the tires at a decent speed.
Upgrade the hose on my viair 440p. The clamping nozzle was driving me crazy, never clamped on the tire valve.
So I got a dual hose, spiral hose, and smaller quick fit connectors. Looks good on paper, but hoping the 1/4 quick connects aren't too small and slow down the air flow, the original...
Majority of my camping is with my 2 dogs. I feel obliged when I camp with other people, its nice at times with some good buddies, but I really prefer it alone. A lot more quiet, and makes a different experience for sure. I notice the sky a lot more too, at night that is.
My wife almost bought a Subaru outlander (I believe).
I was already looking up lift kits, roofracks, and tires. There's a decent size market, and wouldn't be hard to do at all.
Luckily for me, she decided on a Kia. More money on my vehicle hehe.
Been camping all my life, offroading a little over a decade.
My rig is offroad first, camping 2nd.
No camping stuff that compromises it's capability (like a RTT). Maybe my roofrack adds a little top weight, but not enough to notice.
Dunno why, I want to avoid the overland look on my daily...
Nothing, but did a photoshoot with a new flashlight that just came in.
Its a neat flashlight too, has 3 lighting options. Flood light, spot light, and side light (which has many features/colors/flash). Also can be a power bank as it uses two 4000mah 18650s.
