I don’t want/need another inflatable… I have several to choose from. Inflatables are fine for a float trip, but when on the move and I see a body of water where the fish are jumping, I need to get out there right now… not 20 minutes later… and then when it’s time to come back to shore another...
I want to get either a canoe or a kayak. I’m not sure which way I will go yet… probably kayak just because they are more maneuverable for floating solo.

Also RT Systems and Chirp have the ability to upload repeaters by area and route by selecting import from “your repeater source like RepeaterBook “ and then selecting the options for repeaters along your route.
Why do you want internet connected repeaters?
On the website or on app (OB1)? On the app you can view both at the same time. The app is getting updated more frequently with features than the web portal.

I have several learning disabilities, but was able to get my Tech license with just 5 days of studying. I missed General by one question that day. I went back the next month without studying and got my general license, and am now studying like crazy for my extra. I love learning this newer hobby.
You can’t use your UV5R to talk into the net… to use an HT, you need a DMR/YSF capable radio and a hot spot… UNLESS you have a local Echolink node on a repeater and the owner of the repeater WILL allow you to link the node to White Mountain Repeater Assocaition.
