Last episode of the Signature Rock trip is up.

I hear ya! I had a good shop just across the street from me. Did a good job at a fair price. I was going to have them do the rear flairs, but by time I was ready they had gone out of business. I think they retired.

I wish I had a big shop so everyone who wanted to help with this project could show up. We would have a big party! Thanks for the offer.

If all goes well with the shop I am going with I will let you know for future reference. Macco was one of the places I was told that would still take on a complete car. I did not even try with them, knowing their reputation. At that point I would just try and do it myself.

Well we finished up what we could of the West/East Route this last weekend. Everything was going good till we hit a private property sign 62 miles in. That is too bad. Sorry to hear that. Good body style on those. Luckily it was just a engine fire on mine so it is salvageable.

There are a few more trips to document before the fire. Then it will be the XJ till I can get the FSJ back up and running again. Thanks for watching!

Big difference for sure. I though having only two doors it would be difficult to get people into the back seat. Having that extra width made a huge difference. I almost think it is easier to get in and out of the back seat with the two door than it is with the 4 doors.

Me too. I have owned two 4 doors, but found them to be difficult to get in and out. Always wanted to try the 2dr, thought they looked better too. Took a long time, but I found this one for a price I could not pass up. Plus being a 2wd I knew it did not see any rough trail use. Pretty tight unit...

This is my '91 Sport. Started life as a 2wd. Just converted it to 4wd. This is a 5sp also. When I added the front axle I also replaced the rear axle with axles out of a automatic. changed the gearing from 3.07 to 3.54. This lowered the gearing enough to be able to add 31" tires without changing...

It will give her some experience.
