I have done a bit of everything but mostly try to travel light. If I am alone I don't even use a tent. The back seat is plenty big and I stay warm well bellow freezing. I have a small group of friends who I have been going with on occasion which has been fun but I prefer smaller groups.

Our Mojave Road trip on dec 12-15 went well. a few wet spots early and Soda Lake was wet and slick but we made it through without any problem.

That is the way we did it. Friday morning started at 8:oo am from the AVI and finished up Sunday about 2:00 pm. Caruther's canyon is nice and we have camped there but it is a good ways off the Mojave Road and can cost valuable time... '
