I like to get my tent set up first. To make it easier, anything that will get setup with it (bedding, cot, foam floor, etc.) will get packed last in the truck. That makes it the first thing out and comes in really handy at night or in the rain.

Wow, that's a lot of lift! Sounds like you're best bet is keeping it stock. Most dirt roads wouldn't require a 2.5" lift :) Did you go any bigger (over stock) with your tires?

Have you had any clearance issues yet? If you haven't had a problem getting to your destinations, I wouldn't worry too much about getting a lift. If you're looking for places that are harder to get to, then it would be worth considering it. How much can you actually gain, and is it worth the...

I'm on my 3rd set of KM2's. Daily driver ~45miles per day. Not much snow driving, but worked well when I did. 40k sounds about right in my experience.

That's a little scary. At the minimum, you should have a nut on the other side of the head. A 3/8" grade 8 nut and bolt would be 1000's of times stronger. What are you using to mount the Hi-Lift? I'd also highly recommend replacing the bungee cords with ratchet straps. Sorry, I'm not tying to...
