    I think it's a tool like any other , every one has a box full, some you use daily , some you use once a year but the fact is its better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it! I have always carried one and it has been a lifesaver to me! Just my 2 cents!

    We had an F150 supercrew with a lot of bedliner sprayed on the body . After 9 years it still looked great, But the truck was garage kept! In the past we had a landrover done and it faded badly. I would check into a wrap also! May be an option .

    I went the trailer route also. I have a local guy that builds a nice trailer for less than $2K. I like it because I can leave all my gear loaded and ready!

    I have an Igloo Kool mate 40 and if you put a few freezer packs in it it works great for a short trip but I am looking at the Dometic 50 for some longer trips!

    Y’all should come over to the Alamo Spring s Cafe and have a meet and greet some Suday! Its a great area of the Hill country near Luchenbach and numerous wineries , distillers and beautiful scenery!

    New JLUR or F-150 for overland?

    I just bought a new JLRU and love it! The only issue so far has been waiting on parts to become available since most wont interchange with JKs. Its very comfortable has plenty of power, fuel mileage isn’t impressive but I didn’t buy it for that!
