Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

Too bad they didn’t use a non-cambered (straight) axle, you could have flipped it and been done with it :)

Haven’t camped in it yet, but did climb up there yesterday. Seemed fine to me. It will be parked on level ground when camping, with leveling jacks front and rear.
The trailer tracked well behind our Montero while going 55mph, and seemed to do fine on a washboard dirt at 30mph.

2 things happened today.
1) Took a test drive down the road and back, including over railroad tracks, and down a washboard dirt road with potholes about 6” deep.
2) Deployed the Tepui roof top tent on the trailer, so we could get an idea of how it would work out in the wild.

Couldn’t wait any longer, had to mock it up and see how everything looked. Still working on paint, but the top section is finished.

Makes sense. I have those same fenders here that I need to return from my build. I really considered using them for their practicality and functionality, but ended up going with the round fenders because I just like the way they looked a little better, and the trailer is so low I don’t plan to...
Do they use non-cambered axles so you can flip them?
You might wait on the batwing for a few weeks. There may be something coming out that you like better... PM me for details.
