Thanks for the heads up. I know the Forest Service isn't always the most accurate source of information, but I have run my trails by them and they indicate we should be OK. If your free and would like to join us, it would be nice to have your expertise along.

We will be running trails around the Pinecrest Lake Area. Including Stanislaus canyon to Beardsley Lake and around Hell's Half Acre area and end up on Sonora Pass Road. Trails are rated easy and this will be a Scenic laid back outing exploring trails I have not been on before. Optional Sunday...

Was able to get Saturday off. My son will be fishing at Pinecrest Lake on Friday. So I could meet-up with you Saturday morning at the Summit (Pinecrest) Ranger Station right on HWY 108. 1 Pinecrest Lake Road.

I almost ran into the same problem in Death Valley after off roading for 5 days.

I always bring branch clearing gear. Was up on a trail your not hitting on this run, and was looking at a low lying tree on the trail and wham hit a sucker branch the FS had lying on the side of the trail. Should be pretty cold up that way now. Looks like Hull Mtn. might get some snow.
