Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Whats up Bailey! I have GG-Lighting up front (will eventually change when I get more funds, other vehicle priorities) then I am running the Baja Designs S2 Pro in the rear for a dust light. I like that their Amber is not as dark as most and more of a yellow!
The ZR2 looks like its going to be an awesome truck. I really had to consider stopping everything I'm doing and wait until that comes out, but I am already too deep and the modifications I'm doing should make it just as capable if not slightly more. The front and rear selectable lockers were the...
I believe it should be vastly superior to the BDS, however they are two very different kits. Mine is a long travel kit that extends each side out 3.5" with uniball upper and lowers as well as an additional bypass shock. These will be intended to have just increased wheel travel along with the...
Depending where you are from, they are near impossible to find. I was originally looking for the 52 Ozark Trail but got tired of wasting gas going to Walmart once a week to check. The employees were useless to call about them.
Mojave Road is a blast! This is tempting, but might be a bit too many people going for my tastes. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see how things shape up closer to March. Wishing you luck in organization you've got quite a task!
Hello OB Members!
I'm taking the path less traveled as most of us do, but I am doing in the less travelled vehicle! The 2015 Chevy Colorado. While this vehicle is gaining traction due to the availability of diesel, aftermarket support has still been reluctant to support it. Everything I do...
This could be a good thread if Michael and Corrie haven't thought of anything yet (I'm sure they have though). Events as big as this could be, should be planned out at the very least 6 months ahead I would think!
I've considered those, but I'm thinking ill have to build a platform over the tire since everything currently sits at an awkward angle and doesn't tie down very well. I was also looking into using duffle bags rather than boxes so that they can be stuffed into the awkward corners on the sides of...
There's not much for my truck as far as roof racks. I'm trying to keep the center of gravity down as much as possible. I am doing a pre-runner/overland combo so some activities will be at higher speeds.
Hi Guys!
I've been struggling with options for bed storage that can take a beating. On my last trip on Mojave Road, it really made me reconsider the way I currently have things. Stuff was flying all over the place. I have attached a photo to what I am currently working with. Not much room for...
Another waterbrick user. I like that they interlock very well. With a strap over them, they aren't going anywhere. I have 4 of them. Generally for most of my trips ive never needed more than 2. But most my trips are 3 days. Mine have taken a beating as there was once I forgot to strap it down in...
I can do the following Sunday, but I know that is family day for most. The weekend after is probably too close to the holidays and last minute shopping crunch. It does work for me however. Just thinking in general. I am too far to make it on week days/Fridays with traffic.
I have the 45 and it has taken a beating. It also is fantastic in holding ice. Sometimes too well. My pre-scrambled eggs actually froze in the cooler. . . kind of a bummer. I would just recommend using frozen water bottles and not cubed ice as it could get too cold in the cooler with the ice cubes.
