Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
asked you as in they would take it if you brought it in? or just as a reminder that it's a good idea? and do you mean you have to be registered in Canada to purchase bear spray in Canada?
they never asked when we went last year (or 2023) and we carried the same cans from spokane...wonder if...
Pretty stoked I just bought a new drone and should have it by next week. my cheap drone was a little schizo and had a unhealth attraction to trees. new one has much better software and 360* obstacle avoidance. and MUCH better image quality. couldn't have picked a better location to shoot...
Awesome! We did a similar route in reverse last year in October, this will be a little more direct than that, but the area is absolutely gorgeous. Roads were dusty, hence the importance of dust lights, but I'm hoping it might be a little less dusty early in the season.
If anyone has any...
Hey Aaron looks like Erin got you squared away on RSVP'ING, in the details I listed some items that I consider necessities, dust lights, preferably amber and as high as you can mount is one of the biggest. Other than that, full sized spare, recovery gear, recovery points front and rear, and...
yeah it was a great trip honestly, little more peoplely than we usually do lol, but it was a lot of fun.
We'll look for you on some future trips! I'm getting ready to post a Juneteenth weekend trip to Ghost River PLUZ (Public Land Use Zone) in Alberta

oh yeah, you'll have PLENTY to explore. our trips specifically go from mild to... a bit more interesting lol. none of us are rock crawlers, or even rocklanders... we just like getting out and away. there are some trips where you would probably want some sliders if you were to go, but that's...
there is a group... not sure what it is though LOL... but yes we put it in the "north west" section for the rally points, but if you click the link in my signature it'll take you to our calendar thread, and we hyperlink all the rally points off of that.
and there's a ton to get out and explore around there! if you find yourself in the Spokane/CDA area hit me up, we have a pretty active group here and travel all over, last year we did 14 trips between WA, ID, MT, CA, OR, and Alberta. this year we have 20 or so planned, adding BC, AZ and Utah...
Looks like good weather, maybe an occasional sprinkle and a slight breeze.
I'm gonna try and bring my cargo carrier with a good amount of firewood. I've called the Libby Ranger office and we're good to have a fire as long as we build a fire ring, and disperse it after we're done.
