Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I mounted my shovel and axe today. Used "U" bolts and nylock nuts. They are secure, however I'm not happy with the appearance, or the amount of time it would take to get a tool. So I'll come up with something new.
With regards to roof racks, is it better to mount the axe cutting edge up, or down? And with shovels, long handle or medium "D" handle? What are your thoughts?
Thanks
I'm thinking and it may be too late, but having 1 for the veteran "DC2 SW". Then below it one for Fire Service "Fire Captain 34" or Fire Capt. IAFF 647"
let me know, I'm in for one or two regardless!
I really like it. Will there only be one rocker, or will they be able to stack... ie, first responder, veteran, purple heart, ect... or is the idea you can only put one rocker on...1 and done?
Let's meet up at the Sonic on N. Diers, have a burger, shake or pop. Let's also bring some canned food to donate to the local food bank.

I just started my YouTube channel, so far I am using an old gopro hero, and my cell phone. And they work great.
I would recommend a tripod and some sort of handle. The last trip I was on, I had issues placing the gopro on the trail and getting some of the shots I wanted...

This jeep was donated to Mission II Haiti, they build and fix wells in Haiti. They asked me to look it over. They want to know if it would make the drive from Nebraska to Florida, and survive in Haiti. If it would, then to modify for work in Haiti. If it won't do what they need, or it's to...
Not sure if this is allowed, delete if it isn't. But I am looking over a jeep Cherokee xj. If I give it the ok, it is getting sent to Haiti for a mission group. I would really like to add some "goodies" to make it more capable.
Anyone have a spare solar trickle charger, led fog lights, or...

Installed a roof rack recently, built a cargo box for behind the seat. Mostly I have streamlined my gear. I have to keep my backseat in the jeep, still gets used for kids and passengers on the trail. Great question though, may have to make a video on it for my YouTube channel.
