Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
There are many uses for the Hi-Lift farm jack when stuck out in the middle of nowhere alone. It can be used in conjunction with a few feet of chain and a hooked strap to manually winch yourself out of a sticky situation. Thats if your rig doesn't have a winch. It can also jack up your lifted rig...
I also hear Wind Rock West of Knoxville is a kickass spot to wheel and camp. I will be moving up to Knoxville TN next year. I cant wait to meet new overlander buddies up there!
Welcome to this great outdoor community. So many passionate enthusiasts here willing to help teach and lead others. Very nice rig, cant wait to see whats next for her.
This is all great items to have in a med kit.
I'd defiantly recommend the Israeli bandage, TQ, large pads of gauss, adhesive bandage tape, snake bite kit and more essentials than can be used to temporarily work in case of an emergency situation. These items can be used to add life saving...
Awesome thanks! I am on a Jeep Budget and don't want to spend over $250 for one of those storage racks. I also really like the Vector Off road unit but kinda pricey. Thanks for the link!
Could you send me a link of the AT rear JKU storage rack you have in this picture. I am planning on buying one. Do you know if it will work for a soft top JKU since the top hardware is on the 45 degree roll bars? Would they interfiere?
I agree with Front Runner boxes. Perfect for storing gear and keeping it dry. I also like how they can stack in tight areas of the rig. I am thinking of running 3 Wolf Pack storage boxes on a Gobi Stealth rack.
Panama City is only a few hours from me. I would generally take 95 N from Central FL to 77 to Charlotte NC. --- I will also be riding up with a few rigs. Every one in Florida interested in riding up should establish a meet spot here and all convoy up together to the expo.
My recovery gear list I strongly suggest to those who enjoy wheeling alone.
1. Tow strap: You can double your tow strap back to your rig and using a large stick start bind-wrapping the strap to pull you out of a rut or off a rock just enough.
2. Foldable shovel: Used to direct the vehicle's...

Hey guys I wanted to primarily hear your mounting methods when it comes to mounting your 10# powertank into your Jeep Wrangler JKU.
I am dead set on purchasing the Package-B 10# Powertank. However since I have a soft top on my JKU I can't mount it to the 45 degree roll bar in the back since...
I will be primitive camping in the surrounding area of 'Reeb Ranch'. Curious to find out where folks will be camping... Hoping to intercept some OB members here to get a good idea of where to set up camp.
