Imogene Pass is a pretty simple trail. One of the most amazing views at the top of you have a chance camp on the crest.. Black Bear is a challenging trail if you have issues with heights or driving an oversized vehicle..

I use the REI Kingdom 6 Tent... Depending on how long we will be set up depends on bedding. Short Term is the 3.5 Self inflation air mattress from REI. Long Term it is the Air Mattress bed from REI or Cots. We also use the ground cover and garage on the tent..

For On Highway I run recommend for fuel mileage. Dirt/ Gravel 35-40. Rick Climbing or heavy fire trail road 15-20

I have a 07 Tahoe and a 14 Jeep Wrangler JKU. The Tahoe is a great Overlanding rig. Plenty of room inside and out. It has the Rancho Complete Lift System and runs 34” tires ( Going to 35 soon). It has been all over Texas,Colorado,California, Arizona,Utah and New Mexico with no issues.

Remember to change out gear for certain seasons. Many people don’t get ready for winter or summer. It takes separate specific gear.
