Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
The 710 and Yaesu 400 both have a QSY tune feature where, if they receive that info formatted properly, you can set your voice channel to it with a push of a button, tone and all for repeaters.
I got my 710 doing the QSY automatically with the setting in the radio where it adds frequency, tone and offset itself from for voice channel. I'm not in a great coverage area at the house so I had to drift around some to find a good spot to play with the setup.
You'll have to check the manual...
Sorry to have missed you guys! I went home and passed completely out. I was exhausted after the PMR trip and unpacking. I've still got a bunch of stuff to dry out.
Hopefully next month will work out better!

I was also able to display the location of the Xterra on Backcountry Navigator on the tablet via received packets and the built in...
This is the same table I carry. It's worked extremely well. If I can ever afford the Frontrunner rack for my X though, I'm going to look into one of their tables to go with it just for ease of storage.
Let us know if you come out this way! There's lots of easily accessible camping in this area. There's Douthat State Park and Lake Moomaw near me and lots of other national forest camp sites. Plan it around our meetup or just drop us a line. I'd be happy to show you around and give suggestions on...
