Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
That is beautiful, most of the parts I find are for 09+ which is super frustrating. I want to eventually put a locker in the rear too, but that's not happening anytime soon
Nice! I have some extra parts if you want to pick them up for cheap! These full size trucks are fun to modify, although I am having a hard time finding the parts I want for the 06-08s, everything seems to be for the 02-05 or the 09-current years.
Ok so here's the tentative plan:
- Meet in the gravel parking lot across the street from George Adams Salmon Hatchery (40 W Skokomish Valley Rd, Shelton, WA 98584) around 1pm June 11th.
- Take the afternoon to get to camp, we can go explore the Vance Creek Viaduct.
- Stay the night of the 11th...
One saying I really like is, "don't let perfection get in the way of good" that being said, your bumper looks awesome! Definitely will look great on your jeep.
Craters of the Moon National Park is a little under 3 hours to the east. I have never been but I think it would totally be worth it to make a trip out there, it looks super cool.
Nice to see another full-size rig! I love the look of the tundra, sounds like you have an awesome setup. By the way, do you have the Tred 800 or 1100, and how do you like them? I am in need and am thinking about picking up a set.
Awesome, then let's try and go up fr 400 and if that doesn't work we can go up the other way. How does that sound for everyone? I can send .kml/gpx files out for those who are interested.
As was said earlier, depends on what your goal is. So give us a little bit more info. @Steve posted some awesome links. That being said, the Tacoma comes really well equipt from the factory. What I would recommend is to start with tires and recovery gear. Then go out and go exploring or what...
I was found a couple good looking spots to camp which seem like they will have good views of lake cushman. if we take NF 400 all the way up near the end there is a pull out that is over 2600 ft so itll give an awesome view
Or I also found a spot if we take 23 up by brown creek and continue...
Today was the first day I have had some free time in the past week, so I decided to capitalize on the warm weather and go explore some new logging roads. I had planned a route for later this summer to take to go dispersed camping so I took advantage of a warm clear day and went and scoped the...
I use maps.me, You can download files to it to use and its free. Or I also have motionX which is like $5 i think and you can add maps to it or you can track the route you're on.
