Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Good to know. I'm horrible with wiring, hence the reason I got the sPOD. I'll most likely buy the harness since it's not too expensive and will hopefully save me a headache.
Installed a ComeUp Seal Gen2 9.5rsi winch, and was working on installing an ARB air compressor but realized when I got to the electrical that I needed another harness to hook it up to the sPod.
I don't typically keep much in the Jeep. I do try to put boots, a change of clothes and my Carhartt bibs and jacket in though, along with my recovery gear. Water would freeze solid so I keep an empty bottle that I could melt snow in as well.
I'm looking to get a new hatchet, and eventually an axe. I've looked at Fiskars, and have heard the newer stuff is better. Read the old stuff had some soft metal where the edge wouldn't hold for long at all. Curious as to what you're running and why.
Was planning on a trip to the Badlands in South Dakota, but since I got engaged, we're scrubbing that idea to save money, so probably just state parks/forests in Minnesota.
I love their disclaimer;

I am sure that most of our customers would agree that our planet is seemingly overrun with idiots. While we are sensitive to those with below average intelligence quotients, idiots are not part of this group thus undeserving of empathy, sympathy, or anything...
Now you guys have me looking at knives! I've got a SOG folder that my brother gave me for Christmas a few years ago. Seems decent, is a little wonky (have to tighten the handle all the time), but gets the job done. I also picked up a cheap muti-tool from Gerber to keep in the Jeep. It's a Bear...
Growing up we always picked up after other people and threw their trash away as well as ours. We would find a lot of bottle caps stuck in the ground, and we would pry them out to throw them away.
As my mom always said, "Take only pictures, and leave only footprints."
