Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

Also dont drive that far aired down on pavement not good for tires a few miles should be fine, but aired down tires build a lot of heat and it can cause your tire to fail
I go down to about 20 psi with my 18s sometimes lower if i need to. I works fine, just realize you have a shorter sidewall so some times my rims find rocks they wouldnt if i had 16s or 17s.
Depending on how new a 4runner you will have a-trac as well and it does a pretty good. If I was you I would take it out stock and see how it does and choose upgrades based on that.
A lot of places I tend to visist you have to carry wood in, either because collecting fire wood is not allowed or there is no wood to collect lol. If you camp in the national forests you can usually collect wood for camp fires.
I carry two jerry cans in the back of my fj when out its cheap insurance. You never know when you're going to need extra fuel. The nato jerry cans are awesome i have never had a problem with mine even when the fell out of my cousin pickup on the mojave trail, his tailgate might have fallen off...
