Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Was wondering if anyone that has run this before was looking to do it again mid marchish? I have never run it and would love to have some experience going with me.
If it is anything like the the part of the canyonI did a Jeep Jamboree at, it will not be catering to overlanderish DD. I agree, with continuing on to the forest or mountains.
We also have the ARB awniong and screen room. I can set up the entire thing in about 5 minutes if it is not windy. With wind, you would have to guy the awning before setting up the room. Great system.
I had the same issue with our jeep. ARB awning and a RTT left a big sag in the rear. I went with the overland springs from Teraflex and took care of all the sag. My understanding is that the OME heavy duty springs will work as well.
We have the High country 55. Love it. We removed the upper mattress and put an exped duo in its place. I highly recommend doing that as the upper mattress is not very good. Also, you can leave both the sleeping bag and air mattress in it when closed without the mattress. The ease of setup...
I do the same with our 13x13 easy up. I use the cheap tarps from harbor freight and some bungee balls. Harbor freight also has a grommet kit that works well. I fully enclose our easy up with tarps. Works great.
