Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
May not be till next year but deffinately. Most of our spending is going to be on trips and the last fiddly bits of kitchen kit, first trip in early May.
Turns out i live about half an hour from one of the darkest places in washington. Excited to get some photos of the night sky, may need a newer camera.
Yeah we dont like the blaring logo so much, ours sits higher were our pillows are on the non hinged side. Also the cover loosens up a bit everytime you remove it.
We have the 3.0. V6 , but its new. Chucks original owner never had maintenance done so the original motor blew out. Not a cheap fix so i hope you got to this in time!
Get a gym membership for showers if you are roughing it for a while. Had to do that back when i moved to portland and lived in the chevy high topper van
Since we are getting a full size spare and its going on the roof till i can find a bumper with a tire swing that fits the truck. I figured the spare down below is not needed nor is the pulley. Tried to take the two skids off but stripped a bolt so eff it. Shaved off probly a good 50 lbs.
I wish i could find a tire swing bumper for my truck but i cant, maybe need to see if a 2nd gen 4runner part would work. Till then the tires on the roof. My neighbor wants to buy our old tires so we will be getting a full size spare soon.
