Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
They stole the Chuck out of our driveway. Welcome to Spokane, we got Chuck back the next day minus all the expensive stuff, now we have a club and alarm, so planning to regear in spring.
P.s. Fuck that guy twice
Since our RTT was stolen, i now have an annex from a tuff stuff ranger that is taking up space in my garage. Theres a little 4" tear in the door screen but that could be patched easily.
Anyone interested?
We had tuff stuff, used it maybe 15 times before it got stolen, careful zipping on the cover not to catch any canvas in it, that was a real bitch. Also ours started showing wear and stretching out of the tracks at the base. Hope u guys have better luck.
Oh and we have the annex and window poles...
Who else likes to drag along the old acoustic guitar out to the middle of no where. Bongos, harmonica, noisemakers of any sort?
Has anyone else ever wanted to bring an electric and an amp out, hooked to the backup battery and solar, and play a sold out show to the birds and critters.
But i was...
I got a two burner camp chef for ten bucks at a yard sale, use it for canning all the time, thought about it in our littke truck but besides weight and space, we rarely camp with other people. Stuck with my coleman but its all we need.
Our yakima rack with tower locks survived a crowbar when someone stole our truck. It was the only thing they didnt steal besides the tires. Go Yakima racks
Workin all the time. Savin my vacation days for nw overland rally next year. That and someone stole our truck and stripped off the RTT and a bunch of other shit. So this winter we have to gear back up.
Anyone know of any secure locking devices that could affix a rooftop tent to our roofrack? Recently had our truck stolen and they got everything except the yakima rack. Tents gone, sportrack ip fronts gone, everything stripped from the cab.
If such a product doesnt exist i want to start making...
Something small enough to fit thru my gate so i can secure it in the back yard. What dimensions are youre bantam? I just looked them up, sure do look solid.
We do not have the trailer yet, still considering how to approach the build.
I appreciate the offer for help, alot, but no worries, it was just stuff. Next time we are for sure shelling out extra for a better quality tent. The tuff stuff was nice but showing weird signs of wear in the first...
He may be old but theres alot of sentimental reasons we love him. And alot of brand new under the hood, so yeah, the other stuff was just stuff. Id be devastated if we lost Chuck.
I am pissed, but also excited to do a trailer build now. And with the roofrack clear its time to get kayaks.
Hope karma catches up to that guy quick tho for sure.
Only been in this house for a month too, anyone in spokane or surrounding area sees a tuff stuff tent with gorilla tape on one corner see if you can get a plate number or pic. This dude belongs in jail.
