Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
My requirements for any tent is the ability to peg it down and have multiple guy wires. This one met that requirement. One problem with it was the vertical poles are steel (weight isn't an issue so that's fine), but the poles going across the top are fiberglass.... had a heck of a storm and a...
I use this portable toilet... with a wife and 2 little girls this has worked very well. It's a bit low to the ground, which makes the bowels happy... but standing up after requires some core muscles, lol. We tried the 3 legged version and it was way too unsteady...
If you are camping in the backwoods and are able to dig a hole, you could find a shady spot and dig a hole so that just the lid is above ground level.
I also keep my beer chilling in a nearby stream prior to putting them into the cooler.... *shhhhhh!:tonguewink:

I have the bluetop Optima in the front and also a matching on in the back... all wired up together. It's the biggest I could cram into that space in the engine bay. It's 900 CCA and has I think 135 RC.
I have also swapped out my alternator diode to trick the alternator (high output alternator...
Thx guys.
If you have any suggestions for camping adventures in a days drive (or 2) from the Manitoba/US border that's off the beaten path (preferably VERY off the beaten path) please don't hesitate to mention it here or pm me.
We're at the stage now that we would like to explore other places...
