Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
My wife got me the Canon Eos XS Rebel. It came with a 18-55 lens. Person she got it from is a photographer and he was a Canon representive so he had some unused cameras. Unfortunately we don’t have any photography stores around us. Surprised at that as Umass Amherst isn’t to far away from us...
Thank you for the great advice. Right now only wildlife pictures I can take is birds at our bird feeder and Canadian geese. Hoping after my surgery to go and take pictures of deer, foxes, rabbits locally to become proficient with the camera and then try and take pictures of bears and Moose.
I just got a Canon EOS XS. It came with a 18-55mm lens. I’m just learning and would like to photograph wildlife. Should I get a zoom lens if so what size would be good as i’m Starting out? 2nd question should I get a tripod and recommendations on what kind.
Second surgery on my back on the 13th of August. Going to do a laminectomy on my lower back. Surgeon isn’t sure about the rest of my back. Sounds like a great trip. Post lots of pictures.
My wife picked up the Canon Rebel XS today. Turns out it was owned by a photographer who apparently gets free things from Canon. The camera is brand new and has never been used. Only thing is it didn’t come with a manual. Any suggestions on where I can download a manual. Can’t wait to start...
Getting a new to me camera tomorrow. I was wondering what a good laptop would be to get to take pictures off of a memory card. I have a older HP with a virus and not sure if it’s worth repairing once I find it.
