Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
It's free now, $9/yr for membership, and premium membership is $30/yr. However, there's a post on 4xoverlandadventures.com that offers a free year of membership: https://www.4xoverlandadventures.com/navigation-app-choice-gaia-gps/

I've been messing with it lately...
I'm still debating between Drizzt (because it's badass) or Guenhwyvar (because then I'm Drizzt, the badass). If you recognize the names, you'll understand the struggle of choice.

Love this! After seeing BROG's new 3rd gen attic is $80 I immediate turned to my gf and was like, "look at this real quick, I think I could just make one somehow for a few bucks, don't you think?" You beat me to it! I don't have a sewing machine, I was thinking about just using fabric...
Welcome! Firstly, most might say a good plan is to leave it stock and run the stock tires down for however long that takes. Then when you but new tires, buy the ones you want and lift at same time. Personally I'm running on all- seasons because that's my stock tire, so I'm very anxious to get...
There's a chance we might head to Blue Ridge on Friday instead of hiking locally. We'd spend the night, hang out for flea market Saturday, maybe camp that night too, or maybe head back Saturday evening. If anyone wants to join lmk, or anyone else attending that wants to meet up, we can sync CB...
We weren't planning on it because we have stuff to do Sunday around noon, but I'll prob bring the tent just in case.
Only a cheap CB so far. Planning on getting 2m/70cm in future.

Oh also, forgot to mention, nice Tacoma! I have a 2017 TRD Sport MTDCSB. Jealous of your long bed and cap. I plan to get a cap for my shortbed at some point. I have the stock tri-fold tonneau currently. It's great but limited on space for overlanding storage when it's closed.
Right on. Can you show a closer pic of the connection between the two tables?
I really like the idea of just using the drawer lid also as a work surface with the piano hinge. Might have to steal that once I get my design finished.
I love it! Can you show how the table surfaces actually open up and connect? It looks like the first surface is just the top of the slide-out drawer on hinges? What about the second surface (the L shape)?
Hey some plans changed so we're not busy the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We're planning on taking a break from working on the house for a day trip up to Blue Ridge for their flea market.
Leaving Woodbridge in early AM. Let me know if anyone wants to join we can caravan.

I won't have access to a toughbook. Probably use an old EeePC or something. Maybe a RPi...do you know if anyone is [successfully/effectively] using Marble via a RPi?

Hopefully Debian-based will work nicely, it's my preferred personal use distro. If not then guess it's time for me to learn Arch ;)

Any reason why you went with Arch? Is Marble just known to work better with that than say, Debian or RHEL based? Maybe just your preferred distro?

I'd love to but I live in an area where there aren't many options for buying metal stock. I was thinking about trying to grind down the ones I got from HD, but wanted to avoid that. I only have a hand angle grinder and no vice so not sure best way to do it.
