    Any Fellow Michigander?

Nope not the forward frank, similar though except rolling on 1 ton axles , dual t-cases and a V8. I'll work on a build page here. I saved off all the formats and pictures before the other place crashed so it shouldn't be to hard. Now back to the 65 degree barn to continue the work.

    Any Fellow Michigander?

I had one over on greatlakes4x4.com but the photbucket fail happened and I haven't taken the time to re host and link all the pictures for multiple years of build. It will be on the UP trip next summer.

"Nanuuq" my Land Rover Discovery 2 diesel swap, ...forever a project!

Have you had any issues with the heim joints wearing, with out there being grease and all?

    Any Fellow Michigander?

Hadn't thought about the issue of atvs and dirt bikes much. So real tree camo is probably a bad choice of paint from that aspect. Especially due to the overall lacking of a hood "crumple zone". Thanks mike all I needed was more things to consider in my project. But if it saves some ones...

You have to like the one wire hook up of a diesel, well maybe two to the starter and one to the fuel shut off solenoid.

A 2 stroke Detroit (3-71) would have been an interesting swap. But in the long run a cummins will probably be the most problem free.

    How much Fuel is enough?

A car or truck not as quite as critical as a plane. Its a bit harder to walk to the gas station for more gas after you plane falls from the sky.

    Any Fellow Michigander?

I think anywhere in Michigan the roads are pathetically maintained. A super secret squirrel Nick , any more info on that?

    Any Fellow Michigander?

looks like a plan nick. I like the white board idea, seems a little fancier than my write it all on large cardboard squares and nail it to the barn wall.

"Nanuuq" my Land Rover Discovery 2 diesel swap, ...forever a project!

I could have just brought my trailer up and hauled it to its new home and saved you the "adventure" in the 40 degree drizzle. But where is the fun in that I guess. I like the degree wheel, nothing fancy but straight up functional.

Anyone Ever Installed Electric Brakes on Chrysler 8.25

Get a cheap trailer axle then cut it down to what ever width you want. It will save the weight of the center section on the 8.25 and have better ground clearance. You could order a trailer axle in the width you need as well. You could order one for a place like this...

The Great "daily driver" Debate... Help me out OB Family!

Wildlife protection time? Well maybe not that extreme but I am curious how a reasonable bumper set up would be fitted to a car.
