Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I actually just got this cooler tonight so I haven't used it. Price was actually pretty good when compared to a Yeti, or the like. I think the 62qt was $49.95? most the reviews say it'll keep ice solid for a solid 5 days in 90 degrees. I'll let you know how well it fairs when I give it a...
I purchased boxes to start organizing my camping gear, and to keep the things stored in the truck bed mostly dry in the event of rain while traveling.
2x Plano 1819 Storage Trunk
1x Plano 1719 Storage Trunk
1x Coleman Xtreme5 62Qt Wheeled Cooler
I mentioned this at the Heart of Texas Off Road Club Bonfire run this last weekend. I was met with disbelief. So I tossed three or four into the fire, and people were amazed at how much heat was added, and how big the flare up was.
I tried out the Mountain house Biscuits & Gravy on Saturday morning. I think it takes a bit longer than 4min + 4min + 8min to make the biscuits not taste like crackers, but I enjoyed it anyway. :)
I used mine this weekend....

Bonfire Run with Heart of Texas Off Road Club (Jan. 15-17, 2016) Marble Falls, TX
My wife and I got a new tent, this was the first time we've used it. I love the space inside. 10' x 10' and 7' tall in the center with fairly vertical walls.
Thank goodness for the fire. It got down to the...
Unfortunately it appears I can only link one remote to the receiver at a time which kills my plans, at least for now.
I had planned on taking my second remote, and building a custom panel that I'd mount to the truck. I was then going to attach it to the truck's battery at which point it's part...
The LEDs are something like these. Waterproof 4" COB LED
I went camping and off roading with the Heart of Texas Off Road Club for their Bonfire run. Last night was cold... (got down to the upper 20's overnight) I'll try to finish the driver's side of the truck Monday or Tuesday, and post up...
I grew up outside Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and then spent 11 years in Indianapolis so I can relate to this. We had tornadoes, but they are usually very localized with regards to damage. We got proper snow storms, but the state had enough equipment to clear most of the important roads in only a...
Looks good. I think every FJ Cruiser I've ever seen with a CB has one of those top Hinge mounts.
If you want help making a selection on the ham front let me know. (Both antennas, and radios.)
I started to wire up my rock lights. The Passenger's side is almost done, I just need to complete soldering connections, and pulling the lead across to the driver's side.
Sorry for the Potato quality photos. It was intentionally dark, and my iPhone didn't like that much.
