Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I may be up for it. It'd be my 1st official trip. Not sure what work scheduling will be. I may be last minute. Red House/ Quaker Lake exits are within 40 minutes from me going east on 86.
We'll have to get together.. I've seen 4 other vehicles here in my area. I am hoping to get in contact with them.. It'd be nice to get a group ride somewhere..
I've lived in NYS all of my 47 years and have never been to NYC.. haha.. I'm roughly 8 hrs due west in the far western corner of the state....We like our guns here.
Wow.. Sorry to hear about the rough start. Glad ya made the ferry ok and in time..Its a good thing you found the rust issues before heading out.. I see future breakage if you didn't address the issues.. Better to see it at home in the driveway instead of a crinkled/cracked frame and jacked leaf...
I live in sw NY.. My wife and I have been to AK the past 3 summers :including this year}. Our nephew is in the AF and lives off base outside Anchorage..We've flown in to Anchorage and stayed in Wasilla. We've travelled to Whittier, Denali and Matenuska Glacier, among other various places..Our...
I have the Duratrax on the Jeep YJ. Love them. And I bought ST Maxx's for the Tundra. I'll let ya know my thoughts come Spring time. Although that'll be a little late.
Done it.. you're keeping a running tally of all of us that get the T-shirts, right?? Are you doing a fire pit ring that wraps around the spare tire for storage??
you getting all this shiney stuff and here I'm happy with installing my Bilstein 5100's later today.. Along with rotors and pads..Def. watching this thread through progression..
I've seen a few on different makes and models of truck. Then I saw a Tundra trade in at my local Toyota dealer. To me, the truck can't be stock for the bulk of the bumper. If you intend to lift the truck at least 2" and add taller and a little wider tire, the bumper doesn't "as" bulky. The rear...
I realize what you say about being drilled or dimpled. Aren't they all considered drilled but are actually dimpled?? Thanks for your "clearing" up my words. Sorry. I never thought about the film if water scenario. Thanks for that tidbit. Where I am, I do and will be crossing creeks/streams when...
That's all awesome info. But seeing how I live in NYS that's not going to help me any time soon. I really like it though and something that involved for an install is something I "could" do but if I want to???!! Especially seeing how it's as few different parts pieces.
I've used the on car lathes. When I left the dealership, I wanted to purchase one for here at home and still do. The place I used to work closed the doors and auctioned everything off. Of course when that happened, I was on vaca. Go figure. I will never use a set of ceramic pads again. I had...
