How to pass the time on longer drives

Ha! I've always got a bag of sunflower seeds in my car too. And I'm pretty snobby about it - only David sunflower seeds.

Another option could be Hurricane Creek up to Max Patch.

How to pass the time on longer drives

For the podcast fans, How I Built This is a good one to listen to on the road. Usually about an hour per episode, all about how companies came to be - Five Guys, Burt's Bees, Uber, etc.

I love Abbott and Costello. Their movies at least. I've never listened to their radio stuff. "Abbott and Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" is hilarious.

Dang, that's a ton of great stuff! And I've realized I'm definitely missing "road games" from my poll, so I'll get that on there. :grinning:

    Camp entertainment

In addition to the things you already mentioned -cooking, venturing, reading, etc. - we're fans of Uno and we always keep a standard deck of playing cards in our box since there's an endless number of games to be played with it. Before our last trip, we got this travel magnetic checkers set...

How to pass the time on longer drives

My wife and I have usually just done music but we've recently started venturing into podcasts, which has been really great. It gives us something to focus on, you learn a little something, and it creates interesting conversation topics. I'd be curious to know how other folks prefer to pass the...

    White Mountains - Overlanding

@CenCalTacoma Oops, nevermind. I see you already answered that: 225/65R17 Did you have any fitment issues or rubbing when you went up to that size from the stock 225/55R17s?

Super cool pics! The black and white ones have a very Ansel Adams-esque feeling to them. That last color IR pic is beautiful.

    Gazelle Tents

I use this: https://www.rei.com/product/358145/coghlans-tent-whisk-with-dust-pan The great thing about the Gazelle is that you don't even need to use the dust pan. I just un-velcro one of the sides and brush the dirt straight out.

    Build thread for NW4XForester

I didn't know that they fabbed the bumper on the Discover NW Expeditions rig – Discover Nw Expeditions (@discover_nw_expeditions) • Instagram photos and videos – until I started scrolling around their site. That should be awesome! Are you going to be installing it yourself? The fact that...
