  • Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

Overland Bound WA Trip - August 2016

Could someone please educate me? I have not been on an outing with OB (or any other group for that matter - not counting the US Army). I don't have a good understanding of prep and organization in a proposed group such as this. Is it reasonable to expect things will fall into place for a trip...

Sources and Style for Roof-top storage cases/boxes

Ha Ha. Gotta love the ones that tolerate the obsession, and even join in at times.

Sources and Style for Roof-top storage cases/boxes

I really like the WaterBricks. I checked them out online, and as you probably know, they have other products such as Bricks for food or even ammunition-all of which interlock. Because I like them so well, I suppose it is sufficient to say, I will be buying all of the above (bummer that on the...

    PacNW OTG 2.0 Rally Convoy

What were you thinking. A couple days going down? 2 days 1 night, or 3 days 2 nights. With that info I can brainstorm some places to stop. My preference, I think, is to leave on the 20th or 21st, meet up at the Olympia area Park n Ride on Martin Way, Lacey. Which day is best to plan on...

Corrie. I was planning on going by myself to OTG, but my sister, who lives near SF wants to go. Is it too late to add a passenger? If she can go (she's a non-member) I think there is a cost. We're can I find the details for that? Thanks.

    PacNW OTG 2.0 Rally Convoy

I thought it'd be nice to take it easy going down. I don't have anything specific in mind. On the way back I planned to stop and see my sister for a night then come up 101 - taking however many days it takes. Other than seeing my sister, I'll be by myself and flexible.

Sources and Style for Roof-top storage cases/boxes

I can't rember off the top of my head but the 2 largest sizes I think. Wait, I'll just walk out the garage and messure them for you..... LxDxh = 1.) 34"x20"x17" Hinged lid with red closure opposite the hinged side. 2.) 26"x18"x17" Removable lid with red closure on 2 sides. Also, I think you...

Action Packers are pretty hard to beat for the price, particularly if used as storage inside your vehicle; they of course don't have a gasket to seal them. I've used them for a varity of tasks over the years and will continue to do so.

    Vehicle ID

I think vegasjeepguy is right, even though I've put 3" numbers on the front windshield and 2" letters and numbers (OB-1023), they'd be difficult to see from more than a few car lengths (think of license plates). While use on the highway would be restricted to those nearest, I think their best...
