    It's snowing right now at my place. So we should have a lot of snow at the Wenas Wildlife Area on Saturday. We also have a snow wheeling trip planned in January near Kittitas with a few openings. I am still waiting to find out what Saturday Charlie has off.

    This area has snow into June. It is closed to wheeled vehicles during snowmobile season. Spring snow wheeling is challenging in this area due to the deep snow drifts. So much fun!

    We have a little snow at my place, so I am guessing there is some snow north of us on Umtanum Ridge. A lot could change in a week. We are meeting at the EWE Club House and leaving around 10 AM. We will pick which route we are taking that morning depending on snow level.

    What is your favorite time of the year to overland?

    Summer. I can get high in the mountains after the snow melts. I love the views from the top of the ridges and high lakes. I don't do cold weather very well anymore with my old bad back. I do spring and fall camping with the truck and camper.

    Anybody’s rig a pickup rv and towing a jeep

    When not camping out of the Jeep, I use my F350 with Lance Camper pulling my trailer hauling one of the Jeeps. It is a workout for the 460ci climbing the steep hills.
