Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I’ve also got 2015 JKUR (Yellow though) on 3.5” lift and 35” tires, previous owner installed a Rough Country lift it’s the local favorite here because they are based out of Tennessee, I’ll be upgrading down the road to Rock Krawler mid arm.
I always use my HiLift for tire rotation, and any other time I get a chance, everyone complains about how unsafe a HiLift Rack is I think it because they don’t use it enough, and therefore don’t use it correctly. I’m comfortable, confident, but still cautious of the HiLift. I just can’t justify...
Yellow routes in Turkey Bay Offroad Area are good you could pull a trailer behind your vehicle with no problems.
Orange routes are technical and narrow (got some pinstripes out of it), I have a Jeep Rubicon with 3.5” lift and 35” tires, no clearance problems, but several off chamber situations...
We usually camp with a large group and I do coffee duty because I’m usually the first out of bed for the group. I use a 36 cup pot and boil it cowboy style. Everyone loves the taste.
According to the CB Shop guys, you need 18ft for the best configuration. I would recommend talking to a few Truck Drivers and finding a good CB shop to help set everything up, the can peak and time the radio for better output and reception, and set the SWR and the antenna.
Wilson antenna makes a prefabed coax that has a removable end, you can find them at a Pilot travel center, I used one on my semi truck. Here is a photo one the one I have on amazon.
