Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I had done a lot of research on this, but meet a guy camping who showed me his 10 pound CO2 system. It would probably air up 30 35" tires with one charge. No moving parts. Nothing to burn up. I just bought the parts and am putting it together today. Something else to consider.
My 2021 Rubicon JLU with factory towing package pulls it just fine, however I just picked up the Trailer in Phoenix 2/11/2022, and have only taking short trips. No problems on hills on regular roads. I'm not a "rock hopping" type of offroader, and got this trailer to get to places in the...
My mistake. My Expedition trailer is 2200 pounds dry, and likely close to 3000 pounds fully loaded with tent, awning, equipment, supplies and water. 13.5 feet long (including tongue) and 7 feet wide.
I would love to go, but it seems like there is a lawless crowd still creating problems at this beach camp. What was your experience? It is sad to see people leave a heavy foot print in such a beautiful place.
On the Lost Coast, a lawless Calif. state park has been overtaken by off-roading...
This was a really informative thread. I love the Tembo Tusk grill and have watched many offroaders cook killer meals on this set up. I don't love it $400 worth. I will just get a cast iron wok or Madrid discada grill as I already have a heavy duty stove on my rig. KISS.
Which is why I went with the trailer to pull behind my Jeep. I have everything packed and ready. Turn on the fridge, fill the water tank, add the food and beer, and put the cassette toilet, fire pit and wood in the back of the jeep, and we are off. My trailer stays loaded.
Friends,
I came to this community to really avoid the divisions in our society and to find community with people of similar interests. The price of gasoline is a complex issue, with complex causes, most of which are out of the control of any administration. All the best.
I looked at this video prior to making my decision to go with an expedition trailer. I keep my trailer packed with all the basics, and when I'm ready to hit the road, I add water, turn on the fridge and go. There are items that I have to pack in the back of my JL. Having a "base camp", with the...
The 4xe tows the Expedition sweet. In hybrid mode, the 4xe generates 375 HP. There is always battery in reserve for added power. I've yet to take the rig off-road, but don't expect that I will have any power problems.
