Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I have an Outback like WaWa although I am running the BFG AT KO 2's, stock size. I was looking into the Yokohama tire but I have had such good luck with all generations of BFG's since the mid 1980's, I stayed with them and so far love them. I don't think you could go wrong with either tire.
I can not wait to see the frig mount. I am contemplating some kind of a system also so I can keep access to the bottom storage area. Just want to store chairs and short bins there. I have all my tools and extras down in the old spare tire area I don't use often. Then some kind of a slide out...
Thanks I'll look those videos up. Yes years of off-road has made me prepare a little more than normal. Hope to read of your adventures when you get up there also.
I am from SoCal but heading up to Waterton, Banff, Jasper and on to the Northwest Territories in July and August hope to be able to meet a few fellow members on my way through.
Just like WAWA I bought the Outback for it's inside storage and I can sleep inside if needed. I have BFG AT KO2's and I love them. Worked real good up here in TiIlammok NF on Monday on some Blue trails. Never got stuck once, lost traction a few times on roots but it pulled right up on the second...
Welcome to the Subaru Family.
I have an Outback but use it very similar to your uses, I have a build thread you can view in my signature. I am building mine slowly as I find I need items. I have mine lifted with an ADF 2" lift and King Springs. Full size spare on a Wilco tire carrier and roof...
Had a great time up in the PNW doing some forest trailing in the TIllamook National Forest at Rodgers Camp with my son. Had a group of 10 rigs, 3 of us from Overland Bound. Did some blue rated runs, Powerline and cedar tree. Nice and technical and got through it without incident. Will post links...
At the top of this web page I have given there is a place to enter make of car it will take you to a chart
If the link above isn't working right under custom mounts in the side bar to the left it will take you to the page asking the make of your car.
All of the mounts are custom fit for each vehicle, you can go onto their site and look for the make, model and year of your vehicle to find the correct one.

Bought myself a Christmas gift and gave it early an ARB 2000x2500 awning. Home made mounts form Home Depot cost $25, now all the mounts need is be painted with bed liner. It's mounted up there very solid.
