Does a good 4WD vehicle have to be expensive?

In fairness, a locker only add a few $hundred to cost. So even if they had a locker, they would still be inexpensive.

    Fridge-brand choice and why ?

I read the 30 watt was input to the Yeti along with 12V, though I agree 30 watt is low to recharge a Y400.

    Fridge-brand choice and why ?

ARB - reputation, features Dual AC/DC operation, Wireless controller, Battery cutoffs, accessories (sliders, covers). I run mine off a Yeti 400 Lithium when mobile, AC when docked.

Are you prepared or are you rolling the dice? Be honest.

I would do it like this: 1) Basic things you should have on your person. 2) Basic things you should have in your vehicle. 3) Basic skills you should have.

Are you prepared or are you rolling the dice? Be honest.

It just seemed to me if you overkilled on some things (2 Bic Lighters, a Ferro Rod , water proof matches) but completely missed others.

Are you prepared or are you rolling the dice? Be honest.

More prepared than he (video) is. For a guy who claims MIL/LE background, he completely forgot preparation to deal with predators.

Type of tracks to avoid with a open differential?

Lockers are probably the single best traction improvement you can make. It is one of those things that if you have them, you probably will not get stuck in the first place.

Type of tracks to avoid with a open differential?

Air Down, avoid soft sand, dont go alone, you should be GTG. I have wheeled most Texas beaches in an open diff P/U.

    Overlanding Tire and Wheel size

Are you sure you got that right? That would be a 1:1 aspect ratio, I am not sure anyone makes that in standard size SUV tires. Most are 55-70 range.

4 Way Tire inflator and Deflator

The compressor puts out a given CFM. Whether it goes 1 tire or 4 at same time does not change the overall CFM. The bigger benefit in time is airing down, as you can air down 4 times faster.

I made one too after seeing that. Mine is a little different but it works in a similar fashion.
