I'm going to stick the Rally Point up with the plan very soon. It looks like we're going to need to move it to the same place we did it last year. There are only 1 or 2 spots where it might be tricky for a stock rig. The plan will be to camp friday night, or meet Saturday morning for the trip...

Yeah, the date isn't moving. But the location might be. Especially with as many people have interest. If even half the people on the list showed up, we'd cause the new Bethel Ridge traffic jam! If it does get moved, it won't be by that much.

I'm waiting for a bit of information from @Corrie and the OB0000 crew. As soon as we get that sorted, there will be a "Rally Point" event set up for everyone to RSVP!

We did have one Memorial Day Weekend! We're also having this one!

I've updated the list. Working with OB0000 on the specifics. Hopefully there will be more information soon, and an official "Rally Point" event with all the details!

There is also Off The Grid down in California this September.

The next one that's already on the calendar is early August!

I've been a little under the weather this week, but I finally got part 2 put together!

As of Memorial Day Weekend, there was still a fair amount of snow. Though it has been rabidly disappearing. I would be surprised if you couldn't get to the Rally that way. Though I would have a backup plan for sure.

I always pack extra batteries. The trick to them (if you have GMRS) is to set them to the lowest power you need for comms. High power rips through batteries way too fast.

This is just around the corner! I thought I'd speak up and see who all is still in. There are still only 2 items on the potluck list, so I expect we're going to have... lots of hot dogs...?
