You'd likely be fine...towing the trailer will be your only hurdle and having another vehicle with you would be smarter. Pending your expereicne driving offroad (tire placement, undercarriage items, and care of pinstriping) it's not a difficult trail.
You would however have a better and safer...
The Smoky Mountain Overland Rally was just held in the area. Several groups went thru Hurricane Creek, my group had to clear a large tree near the end of the trail. You'll be seeing it off to the right of the path near the end. Also, I can now say I've seen a full size Dodge 2500 MegaCab with a...
I've got a few visuals to add to this post. Just recently began exploring it more extensively.

Alright, after some time and additions...here is where I'm at currently. I've kinda pacified myself with the fridge enclosure, adding mounting tie downs to the top of it. I'm still real curious about the Vector shelf.
Rubbermaid Brute containers. Durable, no latches to break, have handles, fairly waterproof (don't submerge), stackable, cheap, readily available. I'd love to have a Zarges Case or AluBox...but it's just not in the cards at this point.
Thanks for the input. I looked at the Rampage rack and I prefer the height that the others provide. Currently I sleep along the passenger side and need all the leg room I can get. And one day a fridge will ride on the driver side rear.
I've done some searchin' and some researchin' and was just wondering what the OB group had to say about these options I've narrowed it down to.
Option#1 After ExpoEast this past weekend I got to look at a couple and am currently leaning towards the AT Overland Interior Rack...
Good looking rig. I agree with ditching the bull bar, but I've never been a fan. We just added a WK2 to the stable as well for my wife. I can't imagine wheeling it, but it sure does ride smooth and have tons of features.
As a newbie to the Overland Expo...Are vendors selling anything right there on site or are items just for show? Just trying to get my bearings with what to expect. I know it will be visual overload...just wondering if my wallet will be as well.
I'll be there. Headed to Asheville Thursday evening after work to stay with a friend that lives there. I'm planning to get in to the event early Friday morning, check the vendors and wander the camp site area to see some rigs in their natural environment. I'll try to say hello to any OB members...
