I would totally keep the lift, Regardless of anything a lifted vehicle is a good thing when your going off road weather your Gona overland, camp or go on trails. It's already an added bonus, keep it and upgrade accordingly not just what everyone did.
How has the weboost work now that you been using it for a little bit? I have the ability that on some things I am able to work remotely but I need to least be connected to the net. I saw someone had mentioned about out west. How well do you think it would work off grid to acquire signal? I have...
While I was in Tennessee a few weeks back on a trip to the Smokys & Windrock Park I met member @BlountOverland #12700. As I signed my member number on a pic for their wall he extended a warm hand shake and and said pleasure to meet ya I’m 12700. Was awesome to have a fellow member just randomly...
Like a few others, I read the forums prior to even becoming a member and actually thought wow this is actually a really neat group of world wide individuals who share my same interest and actually have some pretty good ideas. I then joined the forum and began to slowly get involved in posts and...
One on each side of the Jeep is where I Put them. The very next day after I installed them it was like the jeep said lets go and she just went into the trails!
I think your absolutely right! Usually after a trip It takes me just to do the under carriage and to do the outside of the rig making sure there's no mud left in the Frame or anywhere its like a 2 hour process from rinse all the mud and a couple washes to makes sure she's got noting left just on...
I would say 50% of my trips are solo trips, I have to agree that when I'm going with other people its really difficult to get accustomed to the overland or off grid lifestyle if you've never done it. Being in Central Florida I hear locals say omg it was so nice to camp at the Disney camp site...
Welcome to the OB Fam hector. I’m up in Orlando if you ever want to venture off in a group. There’s a lot I mean a lot of good info but tied here in all the forums and everyone is super nice with questions you may have. Hope to see you out on the trail and anything you need just drop me line I’d...
I'm planning to buy a roof rack for my jeep. I got an Offgrid Voyager RTT at Expo east but haven't really even able to makeup my mind on a rack for Ashley.
Smokey the bear are what I call CAMPGROUNDS. Those are where you camp on a pad, have a garbage can a few hundred yards down, facilities to shower and restrooms. I pretty much call that to anything that's a designated camp site. I don't mind paying for a spot if I absolutely have to not saying...
From most of the stuff I had read prior to doing the trip people did it in 4-5 days. We started our journey a Thursday afternoon and made it to the traverse Friday morning @ 2am when we reached the first camp site driving up from central florida. We took our sweet time and explored several hikes...
Sweet Black bear sighting! Im planning on taking my kids for the day to ONF this coming week did you get any GPX files of the trails you did or did you go deep with the full rig?
