I am currently running built right industries dash mount, along with a 4 inch ram mount arm, and tablet mount. Its very simple to install, looks great, and is very well built.
Just wanted to update any other 1st gen raptor owners, recently I had one of my shocks blow out on me. When faced with at least 2 weeks from tsw, and 7 weeks from forged offroad, I decided to see what else I could do to get the shocks replaced sooner. Well if you head over to rock auto you can...
We just had a pretty good trip through Mackay and galena. Ended up staying above a mine on the Yankee fork of the salmon River. Definitely will be coming back to explore some of the history in that part of the state. My wife and I are originally from Eastern Idaho, we actually just moved back to...
I really like the drawers setup and how you have your load plan worked out. I thought about a topper for my rig, but ultimately went with an overland rack instead. But I really like how you did your setup. How did your tent do in the snow? We bought a extreme weather cover for ours since it's...
I use an old craftsman 2.0 chainsaw for removing trees across the road. I also have a winch and an axe to help too. Remember bar oil lol if your using a chain saw. I seem to keep forgetting to put the cap back on the bar oil on the saw, so I usually make a mess on myself picking the saw back up lol.
Another con would be how easy it would be to steal your winch. With a bumper mounted winch it's alot Harder to steal. And if you have a hidden kit it makes it even harder. Lol you ain't free spooling my winch when I walk in a store. Second photo shows how the winch fits inside the bumper.
This is what my wife and I came up with, I think the quick fist clamps and the craftsman ladder mount and a locking tie down costed around 60 bucks. I'll post up some pics with it mounted
I purchased a cbi rack to replace my current rack. My old rack is rusting out, and my wife purchased this rack for my birthday. It's been a long 7 weeks but I finally have my rack. I'll be installing it tomorrow morning
Wonderful content in this thread, I've definitely gained some new perspective. And maybe I'll change most of my solo trips to the desert and not the mountains lol.
