Its an addiction. I have a Samurai on Toyota axles with a 6” lift running 35s. With a rebuilt engine and new clutch. I have a Jeep cherokee with a 4” lift. On 28” rubber. Its my daily driver. Then i have a 1992 Ford Ranger. 4” lift with a 3” body lift. With a 4L swap and a locked front with posi...
Im a Ford guy. Through and through. But i cant argue that logic. Its a really good point. As much as i love the look of the new broncos, I wouldnt buy one for at least 3-5 years.
Im a OBS Ford guy. I piece together my own lift kits. Just buy the springs i want at the height i want. Grab some new, ubolts, break lines and shocks. And away i go. Cost me like $1000 to do it that way vs spending $2500 on a kit. My F350 is a mild off roader. I wanted it more for hauling gear...
Need to replace my front driver side fender on my ‘95 F350 because its rotted out and i need new bezles for the headlights. The parts are only $140 but shipping and duty to get it here is three times the price of the parts!?! Anyone have any ideas on how to get what i need shipped to British...
stay safe and warm up in the great white north! Awesome to see it sitting at 90 degrees, others that are cost more wont
Yeah, the magnet on them is surprisingly good. Ive tied paracord to the light and used it to reach thing in places i couldnt get my arm in. Its a really handy feature.
In 2018 i bought two Slyde Kings. I lived in an off grid cabin for a winter and for 6 months they were what i used to light the cabin and wrench on trucks. Both are still going strong. They go everywhere with me. Theyre USB rechargeable. Come with an 18650 battery and are really tough. The flood...
Id say just do it. And if you have a basic understanding of welding and design. Id just buy the steel. Cut it up and do it. Unless you’re heart is set on something really pretty.
What about making a velcro sock, thats velcro on the front and elastic on the back. Cut out for vanity mirrors, and then slip them over the sun visors?
30 grand. Damn. Well. Ive never spent more that $1500-$3000 on a truck, then i spend about $6-7,000 on it to get it trail ready. I go out looking for a solid engine, tranny and transfer case. I find the truck. Then it’s usually $2500 on rubber. $1000 for a winch, $2500 for a lift kit. And the...
Im in BC. Just outside of lillooet. My stompin grounds range from lillooet west to pemberton and north up to Alexis Creek. If anyones out this way for adventure. Hit me up. I know a bunch of neat trails and camps spots.
Thats awesome. Welcome. The people on this forum are friendly and knowledgeable. Im sure youll have a good time with this community of off-roaders. If youre rig showed on time post some pics of it in the BC RIGS thread!
Im a BC boy. But i try and get out that way a few times a year. I really love the rockies. Locally I usually run my OBS Ranger. But for longer runs and hauling more gear i have an OBS F350. Running a 351 small block ford clevor build. 4” lift on 35” trail grappler M/Ts. Dana 80 rear with a 60 in...
Been working on my OBS 350. Last job was breaks. Upgraded my rotors and drums. Pads and shoes. Did a spring kit in the back and pressed in new studs to mate the rotors and hubs. Then added some wheel spacers all the way around.
