I was talking to people there that were supposed to be running the event and they ask about my Overland bound southeast patch and they said that Overland Bound and Overland Expo were not the same!

I was talking to acouple of people at the expo and they made a comment about my Overland Bound southern patch and I ask them if they where from and they said that Overland Bound ..... And Overland Expo was not the same and that it was not part of Overland bound

I was also told to Overland Expo was not part of Overland bound is that true

I agree there was a lack of preparedness especially in the moto party. there was no cover, people had to stand out in the cold! They had a perfectly good barn but did not use it there was no fires allowed in the campground to keep people warm! The web site said there's going to be a fire pits...

A good Campfire and good friends

As for drinking I think it's a bad ideal to mix Overland driving and drinking ! It can get you or someone else hurt! I personally don't drink and drive ! But I do enjoy a beer around the campfire

Well I agree with you on the drunk part but we did camp there all weekend . Overlanding dose not mean that you or the group have to be a sanctioned event. you can go out by your self and be Overlanding. It dose not even mean you have to camp it's the adventure and the Exploring that makes it...
