    Dash Cam Suggestions

We've got a couple of these Roav units as well for the last 8 months or so, no complaints so far. I drive from Rancho Palos Verdes to Hollywood and back everyday. I could start an entire YouTube channel with footage from the cam...LOL.

M101A1- Anybody got one? Pics? mods?

Looks good! While some you say you don't need them, I am really glad I went with electric brakes on my new axle. It's a big load off my Jeep and to be able to modulate the trailer brakes separately over obstacles which is a great advantage.

    Tembo tusk, who has one?

The picture I wanted to add yesterday to my post...building breakfast!

    Tembo tusk, who has one?

That's how it's supposed to work, you cook towards the center and then as things are done, you move them to the sides to keep warm. It's a great advantage. When we cook up breakfast sandwiches, we do the bacon first, slide it to the side and then toast the bread, slide that to the side with...

    Tembo tusk, who has one?

Love our Skottle, we didn't even use our camp stove on our last trip. We've cooked for 6 on it without issue. I really like the size of it, I wouldn't want it any bigger as it would be too much of a hassle to haul around. It's well made and the storage bag is great too. The Skottle...

Gobi customers with open/pending Trailduty orders

I saw on another forum that the owner of Trail Duty passed away unexpectedly.

Road Shower 2 Five-Gallon Pressurized Solar Shower Review

I'm not sure who you are asking but I'll jump in here. I don't weld aluminum and I have read a bunch of the do-it-yourself plastic pipe shower builds over the years and they never work out to be as efficient, don't heat up as fast, don't retain heat as well, etc. I don't mind paying for a...

    Overland Ram Mount Solutions

Those Nite-ize Steelie mounts are great for mics, I've got them in my Jeep as well. I have yet to have one fall off no matter how harsh the road.

What's your campfire in fire season or no campfire areas?

Campfire in a Can is what we use, it's a shame they went out of business, it's very well made and puts out a nice quiet flame. Seen in the background here on one of our more fancy camp evenings:

    Matrax Mounts and locks?

I made mounts for my trailer but it utilizes the Maxtrax Locking Pins to hold the mounts. The pins have a provision for a TSA style padlock but I don't feel like that will do much so I just run a cable lock with a padlock through the handholds and around the rack. Has worked fine for many miles.

Road Shower 2 Five-Gallon Pressurized Solar Shower Review

This review sealed the deal on the Roadshower 4 for me. Even though it was about a previous model, it answered all my questions and then some! Very impressive, thanks for taking the time you did to do such a thorough product review. Haven't used it on the trail yet but got it mounted up on...

SOLD SoCal - Jeep JK Gobi Stealth Rack $1100 Local pickup only

It's time to sell my Gobi Stealth rack! I bought an expedition style trailer a couple years ago and the Gobi has pretty much been in my garage ever since. I just don't need it anymore as we take the trailer when we hit the trails. Bought new in 2013, It comes with the sunroof insert, wind...

Trasharoo will loose me when Campcover is in the US.

I I don't have the sag strap, so can't comment there. Not sure about the weight, but I've had 3 days of trash for 6-8 people in it which by day 3 it was stuffed! I've occasionally used it to carry firewood or extra chairs without issue, but I try not to overload my spare tire carrier in...

Trasharoo will loose me when Campcover is in the US.

The Campcover looks small to me too. I trailer and have had a Trasharoo for several years now without the sag strap and don't have any issues. You have to mount it correctly and good and tight to begin with though, and also have to cinch up the exterior straps when it starts getting full to...

    Ask About Gaia GPS!

I hear what you are saying but my experience with Apple OS is exactly the opposite of what you describe versus Android. However, both OS's basically force you to upgrade after a couple years as the operating systems grow. Apple is pretty blatant about the planned obsolescence of their devices...

    Ask About Gaia GPS!

I can tell you from another thread on another forum that Android 4.4 is as old as you want to go version wise. I'm running 4.1.2 and it kept crashing, but they were able to correct the issue and the latest update is now working. Considering Android is up to version 8+ I would try to get a...
